Large Format

Supervisor

You will be responsible for the day-to-day production of the Large Format Print Room, reporting to the Display Services Manager.

With your team, you will plan and schedule jobs, ensuring quality control and on-time completion, manage stock levels and maintenance of equipment. You will be proactive to optimise quality of service, workflow, business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently handle and prioritise multiple jobs to meet project deadlines, in a fast-paced and changing environment

  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding project priorities, timings, processes and operating problems

  • Supervise and develop the production team including pre-press

  • Monitor quality, accuracy and timelines of all orders to adhere to SLAs

  • Liaising with the Manager to ensure continued improvement in workflow, stock control, stock waste management and quality

  • Involvement in all stages of production and finishing

  • Ensure a clean and tidy environment in the production area

  • Attend off-site venues for installation

  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding equipment and provide advice as to the suitability of the various machinery

  • Attend appropriate training when required

  • Excellent technical skills including knowledge of Rip, artwork and scheduling software

  • Experience in the large format and displays industry

  • Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals

  • Have good IT skills including Microsoft programmes such as PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)

Other:

  • Reporting directly to Display Services Manager

  • You will be expected to work the hours necessary and appropriate for the completion of your duties and you will be trusted to make decisions when and if extra hours are required
